A nearly forgotten Native American tribe from the arid lands of the Southwest spoke of a mysterious force they called Radia. Appearing in human form on occassions of great upheaval, she inspired the tribe to forge on in spite of drought, pestilence, firestorms and swarms of locusts. Symbolized by the scarab, Radia came to represent rebirth and renewal. Revered for her beauty and strength, you can still hear her song carried on the desert wind.

Radia Records is also about rebirth and renewal. A rebirth of our commitment to the music that shapes our lives and the renewal of our pledge to get that music to more people without compromising the principles we hold dear: independence, integrity, individuality. Both our roster of artists and the gang behind the scenes supporting their efforts personify these principles and together we hope to make a small difference.

Our focus is on the digital world we find ourselves in, something we've embraced wholeheartedly, as the way to bring our far-flung fans together using social media, digital downloads, posting and blipping and what not. All this new fangled stuff is actually pretty fun, and we like it.
